NELSON HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1954

Don ROSLING

After Graduation, with the help of Surpass School in Vancouver, I finally got my cherished High School Diploma (more luck than good management)!  From there in August ’54, I went into learn about the Real Estate and Insurance game.

When Margie arrived back in Nelson after graduating from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Spokane in ’57, we tied the knot in the sizzling heat of the summer of ’58.  After 27 married years in Nelson, where we raised our 4 children, we packed up and settled in Vancouver during Expo year – 1985, and met up with our kids, who, at that time, all lived in the Vancouver neighbourhood.

Fast forward –

All the gang are married and have presented us with 10 wonderfully healthy and happy grandchildren.  Our eldest granddaughter starts her second year in college in Victoria this week, and our youngest just turned 3 in April.  They are all the centre of our lives, and a very large part of our happiness.  We are very blessed having all in good health, and with our dear friends, what more could one ask for?

We both are excited to meet with all of you at the 50th, and regret there are a group who will not be with us.
