Alice (BOBIER) Mills

Family:

We have lived in Portland 37 years.  Married 49 years.  Husband – Arthur Mills, born in Oregon.  Profession – Lumber Broker, retired.  Son – Daniel Mills, Masters in psychology, practices in Portland.

Present Activities:

Since retirement in 1990 I have worked at Costco part-time in sales for 13 years.  Also, I am a certified art instructor and have been teaching oil painting workshops in many craft stores, Michaels, etc.  I am certified with three art companies and have been teaching for over 15 years.  I also have had many different hobbies and activities over the years.

Work Before Retirement:


Executive Secretary for a large electronics company (500+ employees) for 15 years.  Medical Secretary for 6 years.  Real Estate Ins. for 6 years.

Memories:

Getting back to school in the fall was always my favorite thing.  Every fall I still think of school days.  It was so great growing up in Nelson that it’s hard to come up with favorites – it was all great.

Alice M. (Bobier) Mills was born in Blairmore, Alberta, Canada. She is survived by her son, Daniel; and her son-in-law, Kenneth Skach.
Alice worked for years as secretary to the Vice President for Ford Industries. She was a certified Bob Ross and Bill Alexander oil painting instructor.
