NELSON HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1954

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bob Hawes age 80. Bob is predeceased by his parents Fred and Winnie and his brother David. Survived by his wife Betty, son Robert (Rocky) Cynthia Stuart, Daughters Lori (Greg) Galpin, Shari (Bryan) Edgren, grandsons Dustin (Lorie) Brandon, grand daughters Lindsay Edgren and Tara Galpin, great grand daughter Emily Edgren. Sister Mildred Staley, Mary Haddock, Margaret (Morley) Hyatt and sister in law Janice Hawes. Many nieces and nephews. Bob worked at Acklands for 41 years as a machinist and then manager. He loved his hunting trips with his son and his four buddies. Lots of fishing trips at the coast and trips to Alaska. Cremation has taken place, no service at his request. The family would like to thank Dr.Janz, the nurses & staff at Jubilee Manor for their compassionate care.
