KIDWELL, Gerald (Jerry)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gerald (Jerry) Kidwell. Born February 11, 1934, Regina, Sask., passed away peacefully September 12, 2020. Predeceased by his wife Louise and son, Norman. (Sharon). Jerry is survived by sons, Brian (Valerie) Keith (Gabriela), daughter, Leanne (Jack van Duynhoven) and 8 grandchildren. Jerry and Louise married in 1959, soon they found their way to Coquitlam. (Maillardville), raised our family, immersed themselves and contributed to many social activities and community efforts. Dad especially loved to travel to Ixatapa, Mexico to spend the winters with his other Canadian family. Dad was a man of faith, a friend to all, a gentleman. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with immediate family and invitations in attendance. Interment to follow at a later date Robinson Cemetery in Coquitlam. Clergy was Rev. Father Mark Bautista and Rev. Claude Mutongo Makulu.
